Storyverse

An endless feed of playable shorts.

Storyverse brings video-based world models into a familiar feed. Step into a short, talk to its characters, and direct what happens next. Prompt your own story, remix another, or return to a turning point and explore a different outcome.

A consumer application concept for stories that respond as you play, through real-time video generation.

Experience design

Turn watching into authorship.

A familiar feed makes a generated world easy to enter. Participation deepens at the viewer’s pace: choose a direction, speak into the scene, or return to a moment and take another path.

The design challenge is continuity. Each intervention should visibly change the story while preserving the characters, setting, and events that make it feel like the same world.

01

Prompt inside the story.

Chat shares the frame with the video. Characters and the narrator respond in one thread, so a prompt reads as an action within the scene. The next beat should make its consequence clear.

02

Choose without breaking the flow.

Suggested directions offer a quick way to act. Viewers can tap a next step or write their own, moving from casual participation to deliberate direction without leaving the feed.

03

Make time explorable.

The World Tree makes branching history visible. Select a timestamp, return to a turning point, and try another possibility. Revisiting a story becomes part of play.

NUX Workflow

Before entering a story, a quick speaker and microphone check helps people get ready to listen and speak. Clear confirmations and a headphone suggestion keep setup easy to follow, then the experience opens into a choice of worlds to explore.
